Welcome Mac Chilton

Mac joined the Growthland team in November 2022. Mac was born and raised in rural Southeast Iowa, near Bloomfield. He is a 2019 graduate of Iowa State University’s Ag Studies program. Upon graduation, Mac’s passion for conservation and agriculture led him to work for the Wapello and Henry County (IA) NRCS field offices. He and his wife, Allison, currently live in Libertyville with their three daughters; Hadley, Haysley, and Ryley. Mac is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys everything from hunting and fishing to habitat improvement projects. His experience with public service, agriculture, and conservation paired with his knowledge of Southeast Iowa’s people and land make him a great fit for Growthland.
