Royce joined the Growthland team as Chief of Staff, which is part of the role Maurie fulfilled. Born and raised in rural Eastern Iowa near LaPorte City, Royce holds an A.A.S. in Agricultural Marketing from Kirkwood Community College and has completed leadership training at Michigan State University. Royce and his wife, Brenda, have been married for 31 years and are the proud parents of three sons: Justin (27), Nathan, and Tyler (24). In his free time, Royce enjoys camping, coaching high school football, and volunteering with his local Lions Club and church youth programs. Throughout his career, Royce has held key leadership roles at UnCommon Farms, Syngenta, Wyffels Hybrids, and AgVenture GroMor. His experience spans team leadership, sales and marketing, and building strategic partnerships. Royce’s commitment to the agriculture industry and his passion for empowering teams make him an excellent fit for Growthland.
